This event will provide sponsors with a marketing opportunity like no other to create a high-profile association with one of the highlights on the aviation sporting calendar in South Africa. It is a way to showcase your product and services to not only the ballooning community but also to the spectators that join us throughout the competition to marvel at this showcase.What is the event about?
This six-day event will see the balloons take flight twice a day, at sunrise and again before sunset. During each flight the pilots will have to complete several tasks set out by the event director.
Who should participate?
This event attracts corporate interest with some leading companies having participated in the past by either partnering with BAFSA by providing a cash sponsorship, an in-kind donation or by enjoying the opportunity of taking their top clients or top achieving employees on a “Fiesta Flight”.
What is a Fiesta Flight?
A Fiesta Flight is a commercially operated balloon flight that takes to the skies during the competition. This gives passengers the unique opportunity to be up close to the competition balloons as they inflate and take flight.
Who runs the event?
The Balloon and Airship Federation of South Africa (BAFSA) in conjunction with an event management team that has been put together specifically for this event.
