The Redhub event on 14 November indicated that multisport might just be on the road to recovery after some hard times with Covid-19 and with an economically depressed environment. Participant numbers are back, approaching the 500 mark!

We noticed an encouraging number of new entrants into the event, good team participation and especially good numbers in the MTB disciplines. The venue is the best in Gauteng (Cradle Moon Lodge), the Event is not overly regulated with rules and tight cut off times, and as a result great for first timers into the sport.

The Open Water swim was well attended as always, competitive and supported by all ages and groups.

For those Ironman specialist and for those athletes looking for a challenge over a long distance, take special note of the Redhub Ultra event on 6 March 2022. One month before Ironman2022. the event will offer a Designers finishers medal., A swim Cap , Branded Golf Shirt and Nutritional products included in a entry fee of R 1200.
