Spent a fabulous Easter weekend at Sugarbush, great hosts, visited the Aerial Cableway at Hartbeespoort and lunch at Van Gaalens Cheese Farm. Plenty to do on the Magalies Meander – recommend it to anyone who lives in Gauteng who’s looking for a quick and interesting weekend getaway!

Mamagalie Mountain Lodge
A truly beautiful country lodge. Took my son, daughter and husband for the weekend. Swimming pool, lapa and shady spot under the big tree. Hiking trail and rock pools – ideal for the whole family. You can also visit the nearby Buffelspoort Dam and interesting local restaurants.
